Wait and hope for and expect the Lord; be brave and of good courage and let your heart be stout and enduring. Yes, wait for and hope for and expect the Lord. - Psalm 27:14

This is the prayer of worship - ministering to the Lord.
By Kenneth Hagin
"As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Spirit said..." (Acts 13:2).
This is the prayer of worship - ministering to the Lord.
It is true that God is concerned about us. He is interested in us, and wants to meet our needs, because He has told us to ask. However, my personal observation is that too large a percentage of our praying is, "Give me, give me, give me."
We need to take time in our individual prayer lives, in our gatherings, in our churches, to wait on God and to minister to the Lord. In this kind of atmosphere God can move. As they ministered to the Lord and fasted, the Holy Spirit manifested Himself!
God made man for His own pleasure so He would have someone with whom to fellowship. He is our Father. We are born of God.
No earthly parent ever enjoyed the fellowship of his children more than God enjoys the fellowship of His sons and daughters.
Take time to minister to the Lord: To pray. To wait on God. To tell Him how much you love Him. To praise Him. To thank Him for His goodness and mercy.
Confession: (Make up your own confession. Practice today's lesson by ministering to the Lord.)
